BIKESKILLS POLICIES<\/strong><\/span><\/center>

  • No refunds, except for major exceptions, at Bikeskills’s discretion<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Bikeskills lessons are not cancelled in case of rain.<\/li>\n
  • A lesson may be rescheduled if the site is closed.<\/li>\n
  • Bikeskills is not responsible for the shutdown or closure of a lift or gondola. The participant also attests to the truthfulness and veracity of the information provided to the Bikeskills staff and coaches.<\/p>\n

I will notify Bikeskills of any physical, emotional, or behavioural health issues that would directly or indirectly limit the taking part in the activity. Please speak to your coach upon beginning the session to address any heath concern, in particular, but not limited to :<\/p>\n

    RISKS INHERENT TO THE ACTIVITY<\/strong><\/span><\/center><\/h3>\n

    By checking the terms and risks acceptance box on our booking form,<\/span> <\/span>I acknowledge that I have been informed of the risks inherent to the activity. I freely accept and fully assume all risks dangers and hazards resulting in possible property damage, injury, serious injury, paralysis or death in the cycling activity in which I will participate. Injuries and property damage are a common and ordinary occurrence of the sport, in particular, but not limited to :\n<\/p>\n

    • Injuries due to falls;<\/li>\n
    • Injuries due to a mechanical failure of personal, rented or equipment provided by Bikeskills;<\/li>\n
    • Injuries due to contact with an object (bike, earth, tree, branch, rock, stumps, fence, posts);<\/li>\n
    • Injuries due to condition and changes of the trail conditions (mud, water, ice, snow, sand, dirt, loose dirt, rock, crevase, cliff);<\/li>\n
    • Injuries due to intense physical effort;<\/li>\n
    • Injuries due to technique (loss of balance, loss of direction, inability to control speed, inability to manage obstacles, steep uphills or descents);<\/li>\n
    • Injuries due to changing weather conditions (hypothermia, heat stroke);<\/li>\n
    • Injuries resulting from accidental, intentional or unintentional contact between individuals, participants or wildlife;<\/li>\n
    • Injuries due to getting lost or separated from the group;<\/li>\n

      CONFIRMATION OF INFORMATION AND ACCEPTANCE OF RISKS

I certify that I have not deliberately omitted any information about my health status, whether relevant or not. I am aware that the information contained in this form is confidential and is intended to better plan and supervise the safety of the activities in which I will participate and that it will allow Bikeskills to draw up a profile of its clientele. I am aware that the activities offered by Bikeskills take place in semi-natural or natural environments that may be rugged and, consequently, are further away from medical services. This could result in long delays in the event of an emergency requiring evacuation, and consequently, a possible aggravation of my condition or injury. <\/p>\n

      Having been made aware of these risks and having had the opportunity to discuss them with a person in charge of the activity, I acknowledge that I have been informed of the risks inherent to the activities and that I am able to undertake the activity in full knowledge of the facts and accepting the risks that this activity may entail. I also agree to play an active role in managing these risks by adopting a preventive attitude towards myself and others around me. The coach reserves the right to exclude any person he\/she deems to be a risk to him\/her or the rest of the group. (normal wear and tear, loss, breakage, theft, vandalism.). I am famillar with the proper use of the bicycle, including all quick release mechanisms, brokes and gear shifters. I am aware that the Bikeskills personnel is available to answer any questions that I may have concerning the proper use of a bicycle or the activity I am participating in.
